I hate to play into the stereotype that women don't know anything about cars...but I seriously don't know anything about cars. And I don't care to. This is a VERY BAD thing because that means I'm at risk of getting ripped off in a major way. The last mechanic I took my VW to told me that it was going to be around $4000 to repair. I took it to Joel and his boys at Carcanix to get a second opinion and walked out of there having only paid a $620 bill and my car runs beautifully. These guys are so amazing, so friendly and they DON'T nickel and dime you for every stupid little thing like every single other mechanic will. My truck broke down while on a road trip with my family. You can imagine how troublesome this situation could have been. Long story short, it wasn't troublesome at all cause Joel the owner was amazing. He went above and beyond getting me back on the road. He even drove my truck back to house in the Bay Area twice. Told you, long story. Can't express how appreciative I am to him. Thanks Joel
